Matt Rulter, Christina Aguilera hold hands
Matt Rutler and Christina Aguilera have gone public with their relationship, holding hands as paparazzi have a field day taking their photo.
Christina Aguilera, who split from her husband of nearly five years, Jordan Bratman, in September, seems to be moving on without wasting any time.
Matt Rutler and Aguilera met on the set of Burlesque last February and hit it off immediately. The couple kept their relationship on the down low for months until the singer left her husband seven months later.
Christina’s people say she and Matt Rutler have been together since September, but really, did they wait until her split with Jordan until they became romantic?
Matt Rutler is a film production assistant and also a guitarist in the Nate Mott Band.
Some think that Matthew is with Christina strictly for networking reasons. A source tells Star magazine: “He networks like crazy with all the big names she introduces him to. He’s a major operator. And everything is on her dime, because he’s broke. Matt used to live in a crummy apartment with roommates; now he’s at her Beverly Hills mansion every night. He’s in heaven. She’s so fragile and isn’t seeing clearly. Everyone is concerned that it’s too much, too soon.”
Well, it does seem like a rebound, no doubt about that. Any guesses on how long this one will last?
