Johnny Rotten’s rotten farts
Sex Pistols front man Johnny Rotten drove Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay virtually insane while on a flight to Australia recently, dropping paint peelers the entire way.
One would think being seated next to the legendary Johnny “Rotten” Lydon might make for an entertaining flight, but for Jay Kay it was a highly unpleasant experience. It seems Mr. Rotten couldn’t keep his buttbarks under control and was completely unapologetic about it.
Jay Kay described his nose burning experience with the aging punk rocker: ”He is a f***ing nuisance. I was seated next to him on a flight and the whole trip he just kept farting. It was totally foul. He kept saying, ‘Oh, that wasn’t me’ or, ‘The meal smells a bit off, don’t you think?’ He drove me insane.”
He added that, if by bad luck, he should ever be seated next to the punk pooter again, he would rather sit in coach. “At least I’d be able to breathe a bit. They banned smoking in the air and they should ban farting.”
This reminds me of Britney Spears taking her shoes off on a flight 6-years ago (yeah, I always remember the gross stories) and stinking up the entire cabin. The only difference here is that Johnny Rotten didn’t get his name for nothing. He damn well knew what he was doing. He was f***ing with Jay. Britney, on the other hand, was just really that oblivious.
