METRODOME ROOF COLLAPSE [VIDEO/ PHOTO]

Metrodome Collapse Video – What a Trip!

The Minnesota Vikings vs. New York Giants Sunday game has been postponed due to the Metrodome roof collapse.

You can see the Metrodome roof collapse in the above video. It is wild! Seventeen inches of snow piled up on the Metrodome roof causing it to collapse under the weight.

Luckily nobody was injured in the Metrodome roof collapse.

The Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome is located in the heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota. It opened in 1982 and many think it is time for a new stadium. I’m sure the roof collapsing will help that right along! The Metrodome is the ninth oldest stadium in the NFL.

Imagine if the Metrodome roof would have collapsed as a game were being played! The crowd would have panicked and rushed to exit the Metrodome. It could have been very, very ugly.

I’m just glad that the game had been postponed. Imagine what would have happened if the game had been in progress when that roof came down!

What a timely collapse of roof. No harm done…except to the ticket holders and such…sorry for them but happy for the team.
