Why was Paris Hilton not invoted to Nicole Richie’s wedding?

It’s probably pretty obvious why Paris Hilton was not invited to Nicole Richie’s wedding, but in case you’re looking for an explanation, here it is.

If you remember, not too long ago, Nicole and Paris were joined at the hip. Partying, making out with guys, and being all around obnoxious. But one of them has changed for the better – and it’s not Paris.

Nicole has grown up and settled down while Paris is still running around in the party scene. A source told Rob Shuter at Pop Eater: ”Nicole is in a very different place in her life from when she was hanging out with Paris. She’s the mother of two and now a wife while Paris seems to be in exactly the same spot she was in five years ago. Still partying in Vegas and getting into trouble with the law.”

Apparently Nicole pondered whether or not to invite Paris for ages, but Paris’ being arrested for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas made her realize this is not the sort of person she wants to have involved with her new life and family. Nicole, once a heroin user, has really matured and done well for herself. I think everyone around her would agree that she doesn’t need Paris around anymore.

No happy reunion for these two. Just WHO is Paris Hilton’s BFF these days? Lawd knows she has cycled through a gazillion of them . Funny thing, none of them ever seem to last. Just like a baggie of blow.
