Scarlett Johansson Ryan Reynolds Divorce Shocker!
Keeping up with the crazy week of celebrity divorces, Scarlett Johannson and Ryan Reynolds have announced that they will divorce.
The couple are reportedly living separately and the split is amicable. Or so they say…
Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have released the following statement regarding their divorce:
“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
They were married September 27th, 2008, and in just over two years, it is ending in divorce.
Divorce rumors swirled around the couple back in April, and continued on throughout the summer. Last spring Scarlett Johansson was asked about the rumors and she replied: “You’ve got your home in that other person.” If that’s true then Scarlett Johansson is feeling a little “homeless” right now.
Speaking of homes, Scarlett and Ryan bought a farm house in Louisiana earlier this year and also had a pad in New York together.
I’m sure many of your hearts are NOT bleeding with the news of the divorce. Ryan Reynolds was voted People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2010 and Scarlett Johannson was named GQ’s Babe of the Year 2010. That’s a whole lotta sexy right there.
Are you shocked by the Scarlett Johansson Ryan Reynolds divorce? We really shouldn’t be. Just call it the “Two Year Hollywood Itch.”
