Neil Patrick Harris says that Eric Braeden is a “douchebag”
After agreeing to make a cameo on How I Met Your Mother, Eric Braeden backed out at the last minute, causing Neil Patrick Harris to go off on him in a tweet – and he did NOT hold back!
Eric Braeden, an actor on The Young & The Restless, appeared on a 2008 episode of How I Met Your Mother as Robin Scherbatsky, Sr. However, this time Mr. Braeden decided the role was too small for him.
Neil Patrick Harris took to his Twitter account to call out Eric Braeden, going as far as calling him a “douchebag!”

“Eric Braeden is a D-Bag. the actor, (Robin’s dad) agreed to a cameo, then last night bailed, saying the part wasn’t ‘substantial’ enough.”
Immediately after he tweeted:
“We’ve recast with Ray Wise, a fantastic actor who makes any part ‘substantial’. Super excited to welcome him to the family!”
So it looks like these two definitely WON’T be working together anytime soon – you can count on that!
Ray Wise is cool and a good recast. Wonder how that CBS Christmas party will be with Eric and Neil.
Eric is too cool for school obviously!
