Survivor Nicaragua winner is Jud Birza, a.k.a. FABIO
Fabio (real name Jud Birza) is the Survivor Nicaragua winner!
Survivor Nicaragua winner “Fabio” is the youngest Survivor winner ever at the age of 21. The exceptionally good looking surfer dude, model, and mama’s boy, captured the hearts of both the Survivor Nicaragua jury and the country.
What are your thoughts on Fabio/ Jud Birza’s win?
The last three immunity challenges were won by Fabio, who was basically playing for his life. Had he lost even one of the immunity challenges he most likely would have been voted off Survivor Nicaragua.
Some of the jury members were angry and ready to lash out at the remaining Survivors, and others were simply ready to decipher who they should cast their vote for.
Going into it you pretty much knew Sash wasn’t going to come out the Survivor Nicaragua winner. He had pissed WAY too many people off and came across as sneaky, conniving and superficial.
“You’re my best friend in the game” Sash said to Fabio after Fabio won the final immunity challenge. Ugh. Sash wasn’t even a good actor. He was terrible!
Like Fabio said, “It’s like I walked into a dark room and turned on the light and all these little cockroaches were scrambling.”
And so it came down to the final tribal council. Holly was voted off, despite everyone having ill feelings toward Sash. This was obviously due to the fact that the remaining Survivors knew they had a better chance at winning against Sash than Holly.
The last three Survivors standing were Chase, Fabio and Sash. Then it was up to the jury to decide who the new winner of Survivor would be.
In the final tribal council, the Survivor Nicaragua jury had their shot to ask questions to Fabio, Sash and Chase in order to make their decision as to who should win the million dollars.
Marty asked Chase the most outrageous question. “Dumber than a bag of hammers award. You have to pick somebody, who do you pick for the ‘Dumber than a bag of hammers’ award?”
*Gasp! Did he say that!?*
Chase had a very excellent response, actually. “I think this is a BS question because I can’t pick you. I don’t think anyone is except for you.” Bravo!
Jane, who won the $100,000 for being Survivor Nicaragua’s fan favorite, had a great comment for Sash, who had betrayed virtually everyone in the game. She said: “All I have to say is that someone raised you good to be a New York City river rat. And as far as I’m concerned, you can go back to New York City gutters and crawl back into the black hole that you came from.”

But Dan – Dan really laid into Sash. He unleashed a scathing, venomous speech to him. He said: “I think you’re a liar. I think you’re a phony. You said things to me and you never lived up to them. I think you’re spineless, and I hate that smile. And I think if I was you, I would go to the doctor tomorrow and get that eye fixed so you stop doing ‘the wink.’ ”
Dan also went off on Chase: “Chase you were the most paranoid player in this game. There’s a lot of people bleeding here because of you. You backstabbed everyone. You backstabbed me, Jane . . . JANE – who was your right hand person! When it came to you, she was gone. So you really let people down, you let me down. Tremendously.”
Surprisingly Naonka had nothing bad or mean to say – even to Fabio! It was good to see that she has a conscious and isn’t all evil! Heh.
Anyhow, when it came down to the votes, the Survivor Nicaragua winner was Fabio. But he didn’t win by much. He beat out Chase by one, single vote.
Survivor Nicaragua was a great season! Congratulations to it’s winner, Fabio! And yes, I was cheering him on the entire way. Of course I loved Jane too, but once she was voted off it was all about Fabio. A truly sweet kid with a HUGE heart. I am thrilled for him.
The next Survivor, Survivor Redemption Island, premieres on February 16th, 2011. It has an entirely new twist! When someone is voted out they will go to Redemption Island and live alone. Then when the next person is voted off, they will also go to Redemption Island, and the two will duel for a chance to stay on the show. Can’t wait!
