John Mellencamp and Elaine Mellencamp to divorce

Yes, it has been the year of the celebrity divorce!

Here we are on the last day of the year and we have yet another celebrity divorce to report.

John Mellencamp and his wife Elaine Mellencamp are divorcing after 18-years together. TMZ is reporting they were married 20-years, but John and Elaine were married on September 5, 1992. Pretty good for a Hollywood mariage, but still, unfortunate.

John and Elaine have two sons together, Hud and Speck. John Mellencamp has five children between his three marriages.

The couple plan on continuing to raise their sons in Indiana.
