Lindsay Lohan released from rehab
After more than three months in rehab, Lindsay Lohan is set to start out 2011 with a fresh new slate.
But will she remain sober – or will she relapse? That is the question all of Hollywood is wondering as the actress begins 2011 on her own two feet.
Lindsay Lohan’s legal troubles aren’t over yet though. After allegedly assaulting a rehab worker at the Betty Ford clinic, she may be facing jail time once again. If Lindsay is charged with misdemeanor battery or yet another probation violation, she could be spending up to six more months in jail. A civil trial for Lindsay Lohan’s 2007 high speed chase is also looming.
If you recall, Lindsay went on a crazy car chase, driving at speeds of over 100-mph as she chased her assistant after the two were involved in a fight. Lindsay had unwilling passengers in the car who were terrified as she drove like a mad woman putting all their lives in jeopardy.
One of the passengers, Jakon Sutter, said of the ordeal: “I was honestly terrified. I really thought we were going to crash and either we were going to get severely hurt or all of us were going to die. She didn’t care if cars were going to come through the intersection and smash us. She didn’t care if we were going to turn and roll. Santa Monica was her parking lot to just joy-ride in.”
2011 will be a big year for Lindsay Lohan. If she can stay sober, stay out of trouble and focus on her health, getting her career back on track may come easily. If she continues on the path she was on before her rehab stint, she’ll remain a gossip rag celebrity, simply known for her wild antics and poor decisions.
Obviously in order for Lindsay Lohan to remain sober she is going to have to surround herself with those who will support her. That will mean no more late night club hopping, and in my opinion, keeping a safe distance from her tabloid hungry parents.
I really am pulling for Lindsay, and know that 2011 will not be an easy year for her. But her release on January 3rd comes at the perfect time. A new year, a fresh start. Lindsay knows this and Tweeted on New Year’s day: “Today is the first day of the rest of my life “The future depends on what we do in the present.” -Mahatma Gandhi… One step at a time….”
Good luck, Linds.
You got to fix uninformed, avoiding bad influences, no morals or common sense living life before the victory lap..
