The Bachelor 2011 with Brad Womack
The season premiere of The Bachelor 2011 started last night starring Brad Womack as The Bachelor once again.
Three years ago Brad Womack was The Bachelor and he ended up not choosing either of his final two choices, and instead went home a single man.
Womack claims that it messed him up. He allegedly needed therapy, was wondering what was “wrong with him,” etc. And American women were furious with him. But WHY? Should he have chosen someone without feeling like he couldn’t be without them? It makes absolutely no sense to me why women are so angry with him. It’s a reality show, and if Brad Womack didn’t make a love connection with any of the women then why should he be forced to pick one? I am truly baffled by this.
So anyway, last night during the season premiere of The Bachelor Brad Womack got to meet all the crazies – I mean, women. One sassy little tart even slapped him! Her name is Chantal O’Brien and she is the privileged, high-maintenance, daddy’s girl from my home state. Do you think she was out of line by slapping him? I do, and I think she made a complete fool of herself. Later she said to Brad, “Don’t make me slap you again!” Now I see why she and her ex-husband divorced. Not only does she want to wear the pants, no man could possibly live up to her father. Just a hunch….
Then there is the vampire hottie, Madison, the batsh*t crazy chick with the fangs who is beautiful, but obviously a bit obsessed with vampire culture. Brad Womack sat her down and confronted her, asking her if she was there to play games or if she was serious about being on The Bachelor. She said she was taking it seriously but her face didn’t say so. Pretty sure Madison is not on the show for love. Maybe lust, a little biting and some publicity (she’s a model). I really don’t see her going very far. She seems too immature to be ready to settle down.
Ashley the dentist. I was a dental assistant for years and I can tell you, 98% of all dentists out there are a little “off.” Many times they are very controlling as well. I can see that in Ashley right away. Of course the sneak peeks into the season showed her getting a little wound up too and I am completely not surprised one bit. I thought at the beginning of the show she came across as completely fake. I’m pretty sure Ashley is going to be the drama queen of The Bachelor 2011.
Mr. Spicy and I both agree on who we think The Bachelor 2011′s winner is going to be. Emily, the former fiancée of the late race car driver Ricky Hendrick. She’s a Southern Belle, seems sweet and is not an attention whore. Also, I can’t help but laugh when The Bachelor shows clips of Emily, the music is sweet and uplifting – versus say, when Madison’s clips are rolling. The Bachelor 2011 producers obviously love Emily and as usual, the background music says a lot on this show. If Emily does not remain the last woman standing, I am pretty sure she’ll be in the top 3.
Your thoughts on The Bachelor 2011, Brad Womack and the ladies who are competing for his love? Your favorite ladies and your least favorite? Also, do you think Brad Womack deserved a second chance to be on The Bachelor?
I’m glad you posted this, because I missed the first episode…have it DVR’d for the rest. Why shouldn’t he be on the show again? It would be more annoying if he picked someone he didn’t think was ‘the one’. I look forward to seeing his pick. Also, tell us more about dentists! I wanna know! :)
I would like to see the opening night be a speed dating episode. It appears that many of the shy women/men never get a chance to talk to the Bachelor.Bachelorette. Speed dating is the new craze, so why not incorporate it!! This way all of the women/men get an opportunity to chat with the Bachelor/Bachelorette and there can be no complaints about not getting time with him or her. Could be fun, if they do it right. What is right? They all get to meet him/her for 1 minute with the Bachelor/Bachelorette asking the questions. Then the table are turned and the contestants get to ask the questions. I hear it is a lot of fun.
