Ok, I admit it. I stayed up to watch Ted Williams on Jimmy Fallon!
The man with the golden voice made a special appearance on Jimmy Fallon last night, and it was awesome. I know, I know, I have posted more about Ted Williams than any “celebrity” this week, but hey, how often does an incredible story like this come along?!
Ted Williams told Jimmy Fallon about how he was discovered, via YouTube, only days ago, and now is working for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and other huge companies. (We hear he’s been hired by MSNBC too!)
I just love Ted Williams and cannot get enough. I just hope the media does not chew him up and spit him out. I also hope he is secure enough in his sobriety to stick it out. But I think he is.
Ted Williams, the man who was homeless only days ago, is proof that things get better in life. Even when you are at you’re worst, and you think it’s NEVER going to get better, kids, it DOES get better. Maybe not on the scale of Ted Williams, but it does. THIS is why I love this man. I could care less about the phenomenon surrounding him, except that I am super excited for him. I would support him even if he was a local guy, barely known, who got a second chance in life.
Because, I tell you what. I don’t care about your background. There is a little bit of Ted Williams in all of us.
That’s a lovely sentiment there Spicy, I may be getting soft in my old age but my eyes just got a little watery :)
I just love this man. So happy for him. I just pray he stays clean AND invests wisely. I hope he finds good, honest people to advise him.
You a good soul, Spicy! God bless for sending out your good vibes to this man and his new hope. I am too. :-)
