Digidoo and his glass mohawk – love it or leave it?
Will the next American Idol contestant to go viral be Digidoo?
Yes, Digidoo. A 23-year old who auditioned for American Idol in Nashville and who will be seen in an upcoming episode.
Apparently Digidoo doesn’t make it through on American Idol, but his Gaga-esque, self-created glass mohawk captivated the judges. You see, Digidoo glues pieces of glass, sometimes colored, sometimes mirrored, to his head. You’ll also find various jewels, sequins and even portraits! The glass mohawk definitely got him noticed but sadly he couldn’t audition with auto-tune, or dance, we hear, so Digidoo’s career may be short lived…on YouTube.
I have a feeling Digidoo and his glass mohawk may possibly go viral after the episode of American Idol starring him is aired. People love outlandish characters, and Digidoo is most certainly that. You can bet that other artists may copy his futuristic look. And did I say Gaga earlier? Because now that I think about it, his look definitely is more of a Grace Jones vibe. I can SO see her rocking this look. In fact, I bet if I dug around a little I could find Gracie in something similar.
What do you think of American Idol’s Digidoo’s glass mohawk? I kind of dig it. But then again I just love eccentric people who aren’t a part of the cookie cutter mold. You?
