Kevin Smith: Bruce Willis Was a Nightmare!

Kevin Smith, a lifelong Bruce Willis fan, until he worked with him!

Kevin Smith, who directed the flop “Cop Out,” says that Bruce Willis is partially to blame for the movie’s dismal box office performance.

Smith, who has a reputation for speaking his mind, says that Bruce Willis was extremely difficult to work with while shooting the film. He says Willis also refused to pose for the movie poster and didn’t do a single thing to help promote the film.

Kevin Smith dished while on the ‘WTF with Marc Maron’ podcast: “It was difficult. I’ve never been involved in a situation like that where one component is not in the box at all. It was f—–g soul crushing . . . I mean, a lot of people are gonna be like, ‘Oh, you’re just trying to blame the movie on him. I had no f—–g help from this dude whatsoever.”

On the other hand, Kevin Smith adored the film’s other star, Tracy Morgan. “He’s a f—–g dream. Tracy Morgan, I would lay down in traffic for. Were it not for Tracy, I might’ve killed myself or someone else in the making of that movie.”
