Seattle super group Pearl Jam are planning a 20th Anniversary festival planned for this summer.
The whole thing is pretty hush-hush right now, but we do know that Pearl Jam is planning a two-day festival in “the middle of America” starring themselves and other musicians/bands/friends of theirs.
Manager Kelly Curtis tells Rolling Stone magazine the celebration will tie in with a new Cameron Crowe-directed documentary about the band, and Pearl Jam will headline both nights.
Pearl Jam’s Jeff Ament describes the upcoming event: “We’ve played enough festivals that we know what makes them exciting. We want to give people places to go that aren’t necessarily musical, second stages and all that kind of stuff. We’re asking our friends if they want to play a couple of shows with us.”
