American Apparel Ads for cotton underwear: A little creepy?
Promoting cotton panties, young, teen-looking girls are shown completely topless, with their panties coming off. They look like they could be someone’s high school aged daughters – they certainly do not appear to be legal.
I’m actually surprised that Cotton would allow their name to be attached to these racy, inappropriate ads for American Apparel that borderline on child pornography. Sure they are drawings, but still, they suggest just that. And the tagline? “You can feel how good it looks.” I don’t think a pedophile could do a better job coming up with something more suggestive. There is no question what that implies, I don’t need to spell it out for you. It makes me sick, honestly.
The artist of these drawings, Boris Lopez, has drawn for Hustler’s ‘Barely Legal’ and ‘Tight’ magazines . . . go figure.
