John Travolta as John Gotti, James Franco as Gotti Jr.?

John Travolta will play the role of mobster John Gotti

John Travolta is set to play notorious organized crime lord John Gotti in the upcoming film about the mobster.

Although John Travolta has not confirmed he’s landed the role, the film’s Executive Producer, Marty Ingels, has.

Casting is still underway, but we also hear that James Franco Jr. may possibly be playing the role of John Gotti’s son, John Gotti Jr.

Thank goodness the grandsons (remember Growing Up Gotti – the original reality TV guidos?) won’t be a part of the movie. No word on if a Victoria Gotti role will exist.
