Christina Applegate is the proud mother of a little baby girl

Christina Applegate, 39, and fiancé Martyn LeNoble, 41, welcomed a baby girl into the world on Sunday.

The new baby girl was named Sadie Grace LeNoble. A beautiful name really, and for once it’s nice to see a celebrity not try to come up with something profoundly original – and completely ridiculous – for a name. Lucky for Sadie, her name is elegant.

Christina Applegate and Martyn LeNoble have been engaged since last Valentine’s Day.

After announcing her pregnancy last summer Applegate envisioned herself as a mother. She told People magazine: “I’ll probably be a little bit hippie and a little bit Type A. I’ll take from what my mother did, which was way hippie and like, ‘Do what you wanna do,’ and bring some things that I know from watching my friends raise their kids. An amalgamation of sorts.”
