Russell Brand is hosting SNL on February 12th

Newlywed Russell Brand is hosting the next new SNL, Saturday, February 12, 2011.

Musical guest will be Chris Brown. This will be the first SNL appearance for both men.

Russell is expected to promote the upcoming animation, “Hop,” (release date April 1st), and also the remake of “Arthur,” (release date April 8th) which he stars alongside Helen Mirren.
