Punxsutawney Phil 2011: Early spring!

I bet you’re thrilled to know that Punxsutawney Phil, that chubby lump of a groundhog, did not see his shadow, thus predicting an early spring for 2011.

Of course with the crazy weather across the country right now, Punxsutawney Phil might be kidding us, but we sure hope he is right on!

Punxsutawney Phil thankfully did not see his shadow this morning in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Phil has seen his shadow 98 times, and hasn’t only 16 times since 1887, according to the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club’s Inner Circle.
