Joe Francis indicted on $2.5 million in gambling debts

Joe Francis is in trouble for gambling debts owed to the Wynn Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

In this corner, ladies and gentleman, we have Joe Francis, skin flick peddler and all around douchebag, and in the other corner, we have Steve Wynn, 468th richest man in the world and one of the most influential business men in the world . . . who do you have your money on?

In 2009, Steve Wynn took Joe Francis to court over the $2.5 million gambling debt and won, but Joe has only paid back $500,000. How it happened was, Joe wrote a $2.5M bad check in exchange for chips while he was livin’ it up in Vegas and has just flat refused to pay it back. (But you can bet hell or highwater he would expect the hotel to cough up any winnings he may have accrued.)

Joe Francis has been charged with felony theft and fraud, if convicted, he could serve up to four years.

Of course Francis is responding by talking mad smack and making it sound like he did nothing wrong. He said: “I’m 100% confident that I will prevail, just like I always do. Steve Wynn has enormous influence over the politicians in the Las Vegas area, so I’m sure he’s behind this . . . The moral of the story is don’t gamble at the Wynn casinos or this could happen to you.”

Honestly, I can’t wait until this guy loses everything – and he will. Mark my words.
