Pete Wentz wanted to work out his marriage with Ashlee Simpson
Pete Wentz did not want to split from his wife, Ashlee Simpson, TMZ is reporting.
The divorce, Ashlee’s idea, did not settle well with Pete, who allegedly tried to talk her out of filing divorce papers. Obviously that didn’t fly.
Pete was spotted wearing his wedding ring this weekend in Dallas. People around him say he had a great weekend, was fun to be around and never once did he mention divorce. Was he blindsided, or was he holding onto hope until it was official?
It’s always tough when one party wants out while the other is still in love. Somehow I have a feeling Pete Wentz will be just fine though – and maybe even better once he gets away from Papa Joe.
