Eminem and Dr. Dre teamed up to perform “I Need a Doctor” at the 2011 Grammy Awards.

Before “I Need a Doctor,” Eminem and Rihanna performed, “I Love the Way You Lie,” surrounded by flames.

The Grammys were Dr. Dre’s first live television performance in more than a decade, and he and Eminem ripped it up on stage.

Fans on Twitter were disappointed that Eminem didn’t win the Grammy for Album of the Year. Some of Eminem’s fan wrote:

  • @EffingA: “thanks for nothing #grammys …Eminem Definitely should have one… rigged all the way”
  • @Ameetpie: “I LOVE Arcade Fire; they’re music is interesting to me, but any of the other nominees should have won especially Eminem. Sigh, oh well.”
  • @FreshUniversity: “are u kidding me? Arcade Fire? Eminem should have won that, and if not him Gaga has impacted the music industry more than anyone.”
  • @psycholaine: “Grammy results were disappointing in my opinion. Eminem should definitely have won more.”

    I definitely think Eminem should have won more. I can’t believe that he didn’t. He really should have in my opinion. The grammy’s didn’t make a whole lot of sense.

    I feel Eminem should have won most of the awards. His performance was out standing. I never even heard of those other 2 groups from Canada that won. Also I feel country should have there own awards. I thought they did ! ? !

    I really feel Eminem should have won most of the awards, I can’t believe he didn’t. His Recovery album is tops. The performance he gave was also the best.

    I cannot believe the way they snubbed Eminem. One award??? Really?
    That performance alone with he and Dr. Dre and Rhianna was so hot it should have won something. I never heard of any of the Canadian winners. Doesn’t Canada have their own Grammy’s. Very, very upset about this…First time I’ve ever thought it was rigged. Idiots in charge again.

    @Eminem deserves that Grammy. I hope he knows we fans would have given them all to him. Such an accomplished artist and a role model. He has proven you can go down and rise again.
