Serene Branson, the Los Angeles reporter who may have had a stroke on live TV

Serene Branson was broadcasting live from downtown Los Angeles on Grammys night when, moments after going live on the air, her speech became impaired, most likely due to a stroke.

Unable to form words or complete sentences, Serene Branson was impossible to understand and it was quite disturbing for people watching live, wondering if she was alright. It is believed that Serene Branson may have had a stroke while live on the air. She has since been hospitalized.

Serene Branson is a two-time Emmy nominee.

We wish her a speedy recovery.

UPDATE: CBS is reporting that Serene Branson has not been hospitalized for a stroke as earlier reported by some news agencies. No cause for Serene Branson’s odd speech impairment is known at this time.

YeahI was wondering the same thing…..The fact that it is on Funny or Die is a little strange…

  5. It looks like carbon monoxide poisoning to me. Look at where she’s standing. There’s a little closed-off area surrounded by a wall. I bet you cars have been parked in that area…idle…for hours before she even began to speak.
