Charlie Sheen appeared on the Today Show and GMA Monday morning

Charlie Sheen isn’t high – he’s just crazy.

Appearing on both the Today Show and Good Morning America (GMA) Charlie Sheen took the stage in front of the nation to possibly try and polish up his tarnished public image, but effective it was not.

Earlier this weekend Charlie Sheen took drug tests, both urine and blood, in the presence of Entertainment Tonight. All tests came up negative. Charlie said in an interview with GMA this weekend: “I’m on a drug – it’s called ‘Charlie Sheen’.” (See video below)

In Charlie Sheen’s interview on the Today Show he talked about the controversies currently surrounding his personal and professional life. He swore he had never worked on Two and a Half Men while under the influence, how he wants $3 million per episode if the show continues, and some other stuff we don’t quite get.

“I’m tired of pretending like I’m not special. I’m tired of pretending like I’m not bitchin’ a total freaking rock star from Mars.”

Huh?

In this video, Charlie Sheen tells the Today Show about his rehab stint at home, how he cured himself with his mind, his ‘war’ with CBS (“They picked a fight with a warlock”), and how CBS wants to destroy his family. Charlie Sheen also pulled out some index cards with questions for CBS executives of Two and a Half Men and read them during the interview.

Below is the Good Morning America (GMA) interview and it’s equally as bizarre.

So Charlie Sheen is clean. All that tells us is that he didn’t do any blow for a few days before the drug test. I’m still not convinced that he is living a life of sobriety. But hey, maybe he’s one of those people who has so many holes in their brain from doing a lifetime supply of drugs that he is permanently in a bizarre mental state. His thought process and rationalizations are certainly off the Richter scale.

UPDATE:

Charlie Sheen’s longtime publicist Stan Rosenfield has quit. “I worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much, however, at this time, I’m unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned.”

Charlie Sheen has responded to Stan’s resignation saying: “He’s not allowed to quit, so you’re FIRED.”
