Kirk Douglas made an appearance at the 2011 Oscars and basically stole the show!

Giving fellow actors hell and hitting on the ladies, Kirk Douglas made the 2011 Oscars crowd laugh with his bubbly personality and peppy spirit.

At  94-years-old Kirk Douglas still has an incredible zest for life and it showed at the Oscars. In fact, it was contagious.

Kirk Douglas took a jab at Hugh Jackman for laughing as he opened the envelope, tossing it to the ground. Colin Firth was his next victim, for the opposite offense. Never smiling. “He’s British,” said Douglas.

Anne Hathaway and Melissa Leo got the sweet side of Kirk Douglas with both receiving compliments from him. “You’re much more beautiful than you were in The Fighter,” he told Melissa Leo as he presented her with Best Supporting Actress Oscar for The Fighter. Oscars host Anne Hathaway received a lovely compliment as well. “She’s gorgeous! Where were you when I was making pictures?”
