John Galliano tells a stranger “I love Hiltler…” – but it gets uglier!

Fashion Designer John Galliano has been fired by Christian Dior after he was arrested allegedly making anti-Semitic remarks in a Paris cafe last Thursday.

Since the incident, a video starring John Galliano has surfaced. It shows the 50-year old fashion designer spewing hatred at female customers of La Perle bar in Paris. In the video John Galliano says (quite snidely): “I love Hitler. People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f—ing gassed.”

It appears that John Galliano is highly intoxicated in the “Hitler” video, and Italian Vogue‘s Franca Sozzani agrees. But she is standing by John Galliano, suggesting he may have been baited into saying the Hitler comments. She blogged that John Galliano “was clearly provoked, and filmed, while obviously inebriated.”

An explosion was more than probable when you add together the amount of alcohol Galliano had consumed and the provocations of the people speaking to him. Of course we condemn the extremely seriously racist content of what he said… We don’t want to go on an obsessive search for hidden motives, but perhaps behind this event are just some parvenus of journalistic scandal who, in our opinion, were waiting to have three minutes of video to sell to someone for a good deal more than 30 pieces of silver.

Natalie Portman, Academy Winning actress and face of Christian Dior says she is ”disgusted and shocked” by John Galliano’s Hitler comments and “will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way.”

A rep for Christian Dior released the following statement regarding John Galliano’s Hitler video: “Today, because of the particularly odious nature of the behavior and words of John Galliano in a video made public this Monday, the Christian Dior house has decided to lay him off immediately and has begun firing procedures against him.”

So John Galliano was drunk and may possibly have been “baited’” to say those sort of things? That’s funny, I don’t think I could ever be that drunk to say something so awful. Could you?

Really? You have never been so drunk you did something stupid? I doubt that.
While I know little to nothing about this man, I am assuming he is gay and happy to be that way! But, many people in this world are assholes and think it is any of their business and provoke people who dont subscribe to their little man-on-top hetero world! It is hurtful and rude. I am not really surprised that he may have bit back and bit hard! Most likely he does not really feel this way. When you are under a very personal attack AND drunk, a good many of us would strike out just as well. I am not justifiying the words or supporting them, I am simply saying that unless this was said in a sober, serious conversation, you can’t really be sure of anything. If he really believes this but keeps his thoughts private, he is no different from someone who thinks “God hates fags.” Both, may harbor negative thoughts but as long as they keep quiet and don’t act on them they keep their jobs, right? So, because he was provoke into a crap scenario and spoke his “thoughts” he is now fired, it’s a bit much.
BTW, I am not gay and I love jewish peeps….I just dislike discrimination of any kind. You can think what you want but everyone has a right to live their life in peace. And SOMETIMES people say stupid shit and make mistakes.

too bad john the creative has a darker side, definitely he made a big mistake when showing he loves Hitler since hitler is synonymous with hate, intolerance, racism, violence of the worst kind.
how can he be so proud about it? how can he be so ignorant, selfish, an
uninformed.
i used to admired john’s creativity but trough different videos one can see a nasty side of him…. just did’t know how dark it was.
