Charlie Sheen overdose: Did he overdose FOUR times?
The gossip rag claims that Charlie Sheen suffered four separate serious overdoses which threatened his life. To ward off a potentially fatal cocaine-induced cardiac arrest, the actor is reportedly taking nitroglycerin tablets. Nitroglycerin can help prevent cardiac arrest, and it apparently goes hand-in-hand when he is doing cocaine. He feels his heart rate escalate and his pulse race, he pops a nitroglycerin tablet.
A source told the National Enquirer: “Since Charlie’s latest tailspin began in October, he’s suffered at least four potentially fatal cocaine overdoses – maybe even more – but his life was saved each time by people who rushed to his side and rescued him.”
The insider claims that each time Charlie suffered an overdose he couldn’t get to the pills on time. Each time someone rushed to his side and administered the nitroglycerin, thus saving his life. On three of the occasions the source says an acquaintance found Charlie ”strewn across the floor, sweating bullets, while he was going in and out of consciousness. Luckily, they got to him in time and were able to get a nitroglycerin pill under his tongue.”
The other time Charlie called a friend before losing consciousness. ”Fortunately, this pal knew exactly what to do – give Charlie a pill under his tongue – and he eventually came out of it.” They added: ”Charlie’s very good at beating the system. The question is how long he’ll be able to play his deadly game.”
