Holmes & Yang: Katie Holmes’ New Fashion Line

Kate Holmes heads to dinner with a business partner Tuesday evening while wearing a fur stole, a flowing neutral colored gown and simple black pumps.

Katie is accompanied by stylist Jeanne Yang (on Katie’s left) who Katie has partnered with on their new fashion label, Homes & Yang.

The ladies have been visiting retailers in Los Angeles, New York and Dallas, recruiting new clients

Jeanne Yang says she and Katie bonded over sewing, and that both women loved making doll clothes before deciding on start their own fashion line. “It’s so rare, unfortunately, that I actually know people who are into crafting and doing stuff like that,” Yang told New York Magazine.

The women of Holmes & Yang are insisting that their pieces be made in America. “We can make some of the most beautiful luxury pieces here. Kate and I are always talking about how we’re Americans, and we want people to realize this, and so our price points—you know we don’t have the best margins but it doesn’t matter for us.”
