Kirstie Alley is angry with George Lopez for mocking her on Dancing with the Stars

Kirstie Alley already has a hard time with her weight, so when she went on Dancing with the Stars, she was hoping to lose a few pounds, gain confidence and rock the house.

For years she’s faced people mocking her for her size, and stepping up to Dancing with the Stars was definitely a ballsy move on her part. She had to know the haters would be coming out to make fun of her.

George Lopez was the first to do so publicly, and the thing is, he really wasn’t even funny, just mean. He likened Kirstie to a pig, saying that she “did a nice job, her little hooves tapping away.“

You know who WAS funny though? Kirstie Alley – her response was witty and hilarious. She poked fun at George Lopez, hinting that he is a drunk. (He does kinds look like a boozer, huh? It’s the bulbous nose…)

George tweeted an apology to Kirstie saying, “I misjudged the joke. No malice was intended and I apologize to Kirstie.” But Kirstie was having none of it. She posted: “@georgelopez, I don’t need or want ur apology…I want your kidney dude..on behalf of ur X and all the women uv insulted…give it back.”

Don’t mess with Kirstie Alley. She’s been putting up with crap from people about her size for years and she’s no dummy. She’s obviously learned to love herself and be above all the criticism. Like I said earlier, it can’t be easy going in front of the world and dancing on Dancing with the Stars, but she’s doing it. Good for her. I like her “spice” and I like her attitude. I hope she goes far in the competition. She’s a real woman, and I don’t say that because she is curvy or older, I say it because she is real. She’s not perfect and she doesn’t pretend to be. She is inspirational though, for women of all sizes and ages. Dance your ass off, Kirstie. We are rooting for you, girl!
