Gulf Oil Spill Health Concern: Jennifer Rexford and Others Dying?

Is the Gulf Oil spill disaster killing people? Just ask Jennifer Rexford.

I caught wind of this story this past weekend and I have to say, I am bothered that this story hasn’t gone viral – yet.

It’s the story about a woman named Jennifer Rexford who was one of the thousands of people hired by BP to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf. Jennifer is documenting her bizarre health problems with a video camera and posting them to YouTube so that there is proof of her rapidly deteriorating condition.

The videos are quite hard to watch. Jennifer Rexford’s recent videos show her skin looking gray, her eyes sunken, and neurological damage evident. Yet no one wants to admit that the Gulf oil spill has anything to do with it. Not BP, who by the way, is refusing to pay for any medical treatment, not the hospitals, not even the National Institute of Health (NIH). No one.

Being as the national media has yet to pick up on this incredibly frightening story, Jennifer Rexford is losing hope. Her most recent comment on YouTube was:

“I WILL BE SHUTTING DOWN MY YOU TUBE SOON YALL HAVE USED THESE VISOES FOR ENERTAINMENT AND I AM DYING NOW OF LUIKEMMA I GIVE UP AMERICAN DONT CARE NEITHER DO I.”

YouTube trolls have come upon the videos and some have left awful comments (What is wrong with this world?) and understandably this has upset her.

Jennifer Rexford as she began her devastating journey:

Please, visit Jennifer Rexford’s YouTube channel here, and send the link to your friends. If it goes viral then the national media won’t be able to ignore it. Send it to your local news, to CNN, to anyone you think could help to get the word out.

Our thoughts are with Jennifer, and we sincerely hope that BP will accept responsibility for these people’s lives.

Below: Paul Doomm, 22, another person affected by the BP Gulf oil spill. Paul is mentioned in Jennifer Rexford’s video. He swam in the Gulf waters all summer despite warnings from his family. His health problems have gotten progressively worse as well.

I would be interested in doing the investigation into this story. 2+2 always = 4 and this just isn’t adding up. I don’t agree with the mean comments on the YouTube, but in times of hardship, fingers get pointed in an attempt for a check to be written. Heart strings tug on the side of sorrow, but fair and balanced is needed, especially with an accusation as BIG as this. Thanks Spicy for sharing.

There is a media blackout of what is going on. Hundreds are sick. Some small children. Chemical poisening. There is still oil and sealife is dying. Easy to google.
