Is it bad that I think Britney Spears is a puppet?
Girlfriend can’t sing anymore (sorry, it’s true) and her dancing is 1/10 of what it used to be. None of her videos show her dancing for more than a second or two, and we haven’t heard Britney’s voice without the heavy filtering in years. In fact, I doubt we’ll ever hear her live again. I get that she’s doing the club thing, with the electronica sound and all, but I think it also serves as a way to mask the fact that Britney Spears isn’t much of a singer or dancer anymore. But an entertainer she definitely is. Even though she isn’t my cup of tea musically, I still want to see her videos, hear her new music and see what she’s wearing.
She just seems like a puppet. A puppet they doll up and push out onstage to perform. Her heart just doesn’t seem into it anymore…

I totally agree. Kind of sad really…I wonder if she fills fulfilled (in an art way) at ALL. I mean, the money doesn’t hurt, but it sure doesn’t give you happiness in the long run (so they say).
Well, I disagree. I have always been a Britney fan, since the 6th grade when “Hit Me Baby One More Time” came out. I actually like her music much better now. So what if she doesn’t have the best voice, a lot of so-called “amazing” artists have made it with disgusting voices. And as for the lip-synching? What pop performer (besides Gaga) REALLY sings these days. Britney dances her ASS off on tour. Puts on one of the best concert shows I’ve EVER seen. I think she’s at the peak of her career. I love her & Louisiana will always support our own! (:
