Ricardo Chavira busted for DUI in Los Angeles early Tuesday morning
The actor who plays Carlos Solis on Desperate Housewives (Ricardo Chavira) is the latest celebrity to be popped for DUI.
The day after Rick Springfield was arrested for driving under the influence, Ricardo was also arrested under similar circumstances. He was pulled over at approximately 2:00 a.m. when police smelled alcohol on his breath. Ricardo attempted to perform field sobriety tests but obviously didn’t do so well. He was arrested and booked into jail, where he is still sitting, with $25,000 bail.
We hear Ricardo’s dad, Juan Antonio Chavira, is a judge in Austin, TX. I’m sure he might have a few choice words for his son, and hell, Ricardo deserves it. I’m quite sure his Desperate Housewives salary can afford him the luxury of calling a cab, or hiring a personal driver. What the hell? People think it will never happen to them. But just ask Vince Neil, or Lane Garrison…
Yeah, I just don’t understand it. I would MUCH rather spend money on a cab than a TON of money on court and legal fees, and not to mention, a night in jail.
