Kat Von D chats with Dr. Drew about Jesse James

Kat Von D sat down with Dr. Drew on his new show, HLN, to discuss her relationship with Hollywood bad boy Jesse James, tattoos of course, and…kids?

Kat says her relationship with Jesse James started out as a friendship. The two had been friends for years and Kat says she never thought it would blossom into anything more. She adds that Jesse was in a good place when they hooked up: “He’s done a lot of work on himself, like inside, before we started dating. You know, so I think that’s why we connected.”

Kat also dishes about having kids – and no, she doesn’t want any. In fact, she told Dr. Drew, “I’ve known since I was seven that I wasn’t going to have kids.”

Now that I can relate to. I still remember 20-years ago talking with one of my BFF’s about how we had no desire to have children. Neither of us ever did and we both feel the same way today. And no, there is nothing wrong with that!

Kat Von D also talks about her early childhood in Mexico and how she got into the tattoo industry. She also shares her very first tattoo.

Jesse James and Kat Von D are currently engaged to be married and this morning on Good Morning America Jesse James dished that he and Kat will indeed be getting married this summer. What will Sandra think about that? “I can’t worry about her anymore,” James said. “I think I’ve spent a good chunk of the last five or six years worrying only about her, and what she thinks, and what I should do, controlling all my movements and everything else . I think it’s time to worry about Jesse and making sure Jesse’s happy.”
