Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers Do Letterman

Joan Rivers and daughter Melissa ‘Bugs’ Rivers

Joan Rivers and her fug mug were spotted arriving at Late Night with David Letterman yesterday, looking like the spring of eternal youth that she is…

You know, I’m going to be honest with you. I don’t get such vanity at Joan’s age. She’s 77 for cripe’s sakes. When do you just let go and relax? Hell, when I am in my 70′s, I am going to let it all hang out. Like most females, my entire life I’ve been obsessed with diet, beauty, hair, makeup, blah, blah, blah. That won’t be happening when I’m Joan’s age.  Sure, I’ll still glam it up occasionally, but I think I’ll enjoy the “I don’t give a sh*t attitude,” that will come with old age and not worrying so much about physical appearance. Joan is vain though, and if she lives to be 103, she will die without one single wrinkle on that meat chunk of  a face of hers. Such an odd sight, a woman with a porcelain smooth face (from afar) and an 80-year-old body. Forget space men and flying cars, this is the future. Scary, isn’t it?

Yeah, it is one thing to ‘put on your face’ before you leave the house, but quite another when it is such an obsession that you are 100% plastic.

I think Joan looks damned good for pushing 80.
