Octomom Nadya Suleman’s doctor, Dr. Michael Kamrava, banned from medicine
The Medical Board of California has decided to pull the license of Dr. Michael Kamrava, banning him from practicing, after implanting Nadya Suleman (Octomom) with twelve embryos in 2008.
It was found that Dr. Michael Kamrava “did not exercise sound judgment” in the Suleman situation, despite Suleman herself being a willing participant.
The attorney general’s office accused Dr. Kamrava of being grossly negligent in his treatment of Suleman and as of July 1st he will no longer be able to practice medicine.
The Medical Board has released a statement regarding Dr. Kamlava and Nadya Suleman:
“The board is not assured that oversight through probation is enough, and having weighed the above, has determined that revocation of respondent’s certificate is necessary to protect the public.”
