Everyone knows Sly Stone’s brain is completely fried, right?
What we didn’t know, was that Sly Stone, at 68-years-old, still partakes in some heavy-duty drug use.
Sly Stone is scheduled to appear in court today after being arrested for cocaine possession back in April. The 70s funk star was in a friend’s “camper” with a group of people when the vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. For some reason or another (right away the police probably realized they were dealing with crackheads) officers searched the vehicle and found freebase cocaine.
Sly Stone has been completely wasted - dead, if you will – for years. A complete basehead, and it’s kind of sad really, and amazing, that one’s body can take that much abuse and live as long as he has.
Here’s Sly Stone at Coachella, all messed up, making people listen to songs on his laptop instead of performing. He was more than 4 hours late for his Coachella performance. Seriously, forward the video to the performance of ‘Stand,’ oh lawd, what a train wreck. He is barely coherent. The poor band, too. They seem to be trying to snap him back into it long enough for the show, but it doesn’t happen. The Coachella “performance” ended in Sly Stone falling off the stage then wandering around in a daze. It lasted less than 30 minutes.
Wow…he has some CRAZY genes, for his body to withhold this abuse!
