Clarence Clemons, legendary saxophone player
One of the world’s most famous saxophone players in the world, Clarence Clemons, 69, suffered a terrible stroke this weekend at his Florida home and we hear the situation is grim.
Showbiz411 first reported the news on Sunday, saying that Clarence Clemons’ situation was dire despite overcoming health problems in the past. They also reported that members of the E Street Band (who have played with Bruce Springsteen for nearly 40 years) have been advised to travel to Florida right away.
Clarence Clemons, also known as ‘The Big Man,’ has not only played with Bruce Springsteen, you’ve probably heard him on Aretha Franklin’s ‘Freeway of Love,’ and even Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way.’ Clemons has also made dozens of television and movie cameos such as The Simpsons, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Nash Bridges.
Hopefully Clarence can make a recovery, our thoughts are with him at this time.
