Ryan Dunn, one of the stars of Jackass, is dead after car crash

Bam Margera’s mother has confirmed with TMZ that Ryan Dunn is indeed dead after a deadly car crash in Pennsylvania this morning.

Ryan Dunn, 34, just celebrated his birthday on June 11th.

Besides Jackass, Ryan Dunn also starred on Bam Margera’s Viva la Bam, and Margera’s 2003 movie, Haggard, and numerous other projects within his circle of Jackass friends.

Earlier in the day before his accident, Ryan Dunn had posted a photo of himself and friends drinking alcohol. This is the photo:

The car accident that killed Ryan Dunn happened at about 3:00 a.m. in Pennsylvania at Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township. It is unclear at this time who was driving. (Update: Ryan Dunn was allegedly driving.) Shortly after the crash the vehicle, Ryan Dunn’s Porsche, caught fire.

Another occupant in the vehicle also died at the car accident scene. The car was believed to have been traveling over 110 mph moments before crashing into a tree and bursting into flames. Both bodies reportedly suffered major burns. Ryan Dunn was identified by his tattoos, the other passenger has not been identified of of yet, due to the extreme burns covering his body.

Ryan Dunn’s car accident sounds SO MUCH like my little brother’s accident in 2002 that it literally makes me sick to my stomach. Pictures were snapped of Ryan drinking before the crash, he chose to drive drunk, he crashed into a tree and the night ended with a fiery death. Exactly like my little brother.

This is such a tragedy for those left behind. Losing someone to a senseless car crash that could have been avoided is terribly disturbing to family members, and especially when there are photos of the deceased that night. Sending our condolences to Ryan Dunn’s friends and family. No one deserves to lose a child or loved one so young.

Please, don’t drink and drive folks, it just is NOT worth it.  RIP Ryan Dunn.

The Parents of Bam Margera have said that Ryan Dunn was like a son to them. They are devastated by his death. “He’s just the sweetest guy you’d ever want to know and he would do anything for you,” April Margara said. “I know the entire ‘Jackass’ family is devastated and all of West Chester is devastated.” She added: “He drove too fast and I yelled at him all the time about that.”

NBC Philadelphia is reporting that Ryan Dunn’s Porsche blew through 40 yards of woods before crashing into a tree and exploding into flames.

The manager of the bar where Ryan Dunn had been drinking, Barnaby’s, claims Dunn did not appear to be intoxicated when he left. Hmph. Of course he is going to say that. Another witnesses told a different story.
