George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis break up after two years
Yes, George Clooney is single once again.
After a two year romance, Hollywood’s ultimate bachelor has split with his model girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis. Although neither side is talking yet, Us magazine is reporting that Elisabetta’s “bickering” is what led to the break up.
The trouble started during the holidays when George, 50, and Elisabetta, 32, vacationed in Mexico over the new year. Feeling as though George were becoming more distant, Elisabetta Canalis became more needy, and as that happened George pulled away even more.
Someone in the Clooney camp told Us: “She drove him nuts.” “[There was] non-stop bickering over little things. He would only hang out with his friends, and more or less left her to herself and her friends.”
Was Elisabetta Canalis putting the pressure on George to take their relationship further? That could absolutely be the cause of the break up. Clooney has long made it known that he will never marry again, and he is definitely sticking to his guns!
I wonder if Elisabetta will be dishing the dirt on ol’ Georgie soon…?
