Travis Barker: Tattoos Almost Completely Repaired

Travis Barker says his burned tattoos are being restored

It’s almost been three years since the fiery plane crash that Travis Barker and the late DJ AM survived, and along with the emotional scarring, physical scars are present as well.

Travis Barker, who is tattooed on nearly every part of his body, was badly burned in the Learjet crash that killed four people, leaving many of his tattoos burned. TMZ caught up with him recently (the camera guy really is a little bit of a dork) and asked him some questions about his tattoos. When the cameraman asked Travis what happens once there is no more room to tattoo his body, Travis replied:

“Actually, where I got burnt . . . I started finishing some of the tattoos that got burnt off.”

I like Travis. Dude has been through a LOT. He’s generally a pretty friendly guy as long as you aren’t the paparazzi stalking him when he has his children with him. I can probably say he’s in my Top 20 people that I’d like to sit and have a cold one with. Not pretentious, not showy, Travis is just cool, considerate of his fans and he seems genuine. Rock on, T!
