Much to the delight of Big Brother fans around the country, Big Brother 13 premiered Thursday night and from the looks of things it is going to be one exciting season!
Bringing back 3 sets of dynamic duos from Big Brother 8, 11 and 12, Big Brother 13 is going to be one big, fat mind****!
The returning Big Brother duos are the beloved Jeff and Jordan, last season’s showmance couple Brendon and Rachel, and the estranged father and daughter, Evel Dick and Danielle.
All Big Brother 13 houseguests were asked by Chenbot (Julie Chen of course) to join up as “duos” at the beginning of competition, this is how they grouped up:
Porsche and Keith
Cassi and Shelly
Kalia and Lowan
Dominic and Adam
The first Big Brother 13 HOH competition was called, “Going Bananas,” and the the houseguests had to hang on a giant dangling banana while chocolate sauce was sprayed at them. The “new school” players did not fare well in the competition. Even Evel Dick commented about how he was an old, out of shape man who was outlasting the newbies.
By far the best quote of the competition and the entire night of Big Brother was Rachel as she cling to her slimy banana:
“I spend most of my time on a banana … then I get shot with whip cream in the face! Nuck, nuck, nuck!”
After all was said and done, Rachel walked away with the HOH win and is the first Big Brother 13 HOH, along with her teammate, Brendon. But before winning, Rachel struck a deal with Danielle and Evel Dick, promising not to put them up if they dropped from their banana before she did.
Before the end of the Big Brother 13 premiere, Julie Chen told houseguests of another twist in the game. “The Golden Key.” Big Brother houseguests who are nominated and survive eviction will be awarded The Golden Key and will be safe for the next four weeks, until 10 houseguests remain. The Golden Key will be both “a blessing, and a curse,” as Julie Chen said. Also, the HOH must nominate a “duo,” forcing each teammate to campaign against one another.

Being as I subscribe to the SuperPass Big Brother 13 live feeds (Get yours HERE) I get to see some real-time drama! Stay tuned throughout the season and I will be filling you in on spoilers…. Now here is what happened after the Big Brother 13 premiere was over and the feeds turned on!
In a nutshell….
Evel Dick was called into the diary room and never returned. Apparently before he was called in by Big Brother he was laying outside in the sun, chilling. People eventually started becoming suspicious of his whereabouts and after hours of him being gone Danielle started to get worked up about production not telling her what was happening. She went into the storage room and demanded that Big Brother production tell her what was going on with her dad. She got no answer…
Porsche is playing the game waaaay too hard, imo. She is getting on everyone’s damn nerves and both sides (old school and new school) can’t stand her. At this point, it seems she is the one everyone can agree needs to be put up on the chopping block.
Danielle and Rachel have a good bond oddly enough, and Rachel calmed Danielle after she became upset about her missing dad. Surprisingly enough, Rachel was very likable on the first day of Big Brother 13, and even seemed to look a little less “Vegas” this year. Heh.
Big Brother 13 wouldn’t be what it is without a little controversy. Cassie called Dominic a “faggot” behind his back on more than one occasion, and when talking to Adam about who would be aligning with who, Porsche said, “Where does the gay guy go?” as though he wouldn’t quite fit in with anyone.
Now for the REAL Big Brother 13 spoilers for the night! Who are the first two houseguests (duo) to be nominated?
HOH Rachel has nominated Porsche and her duo partner Keith!
As I write this at 1:15am PST, Evel Dick is still missing from the Big Brother 13 house, and Danielle was called to the Diary Room some time ago and the feeds have been “off,” aka the fishbowl is live. So what’s going on exactly?! I’m calling it a night for now, but will post more about the game tomorrow, AND for the rest for the Big Brother 13 season.
