J.Lo to Sign With American Idol for Second Season



Despite being coy lately with inquiries about her return to the popular TV show American Idol, it seems Miss Lopez may be signing onto her second season any day now.

A source told Eonline.com exclusively, that Jennifer Lopez has agreed to return, following the announcements of her fellow judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler a week ago.

Although ratings declined a bit after Lopez and Tyler joined the cast, American Idol has maintained its hold on the Nielsen ratings as one of the most watched American television shows ever.

Personally, I think the addition of these two has given a refreshing makeover to the show.  J.Lo’s diva antics don’t seem to take center stage on Idol, and Steven Tyler’s whimsy is allowed to show through.  Only time will tell if this trio will have what it takes to keep the show alive.
