Wow, that came out of left field!

Singer, diva and American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and her singer husband of seven years, Marc Anthony, have split and are headed for a divorce!

The couple’s seventh wedding anniversary was June 5th.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony released the following joint statement to E!: “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

JLo and Marc Anthony have two children together, twins, age 3.

It’s been quite a year for celebrity divorces. We thought this one would actually stand the test of time, but such is Hollywood.

Will we see a new, unbridled Jennifer Lopez soon? There were always rumors that Marc Anthony was a bit controlling of JLo and didn’t like her dressing super sexy, so we shall see. I’d bet my booty that she’s going to dive into her career head first and will be bigger and better than ever. Thoughts?

    There was a revealed blind item recently that J-Lo was keeping soooo busy with American Idol and her new rise in popularity…that Mark(upset that he’s not the bigger name anymore) started messing around behind her back with one of his backup singers. So basically he cheated on her.
