Jersey Shore’s Pauly D to Join Britney Spears On Tour

The MTV reality star and DJ will be opening up for Britney Spears during her Femme Fetal Tour starting next month.

The Examiner confirmed that Pauly D would be opening up for Spears for at least four shows starting on August 17 in Grand Rapids Michigan. The other three confirmed dates will be August 19 in Pittsburg, PA, August 20 in Columbus OH, and August 22 in Indianapolis, IN. No other dates as of yet have been confirmed.

I can’t decide if this is either a downgrade for Britney Spears or an upgrade for Pauly D, but this is a win-win situation for both parties. Pauly D is the only Shore cast member to have any actual kind of talent so it’s no surprise that he landed this job. He opened up for Spears for a promotional concert in Vegas that aired on MTV back in March. With the Jersey Shore season premiere right around the corner, this can only boost ticket sales for The Femme Fatale Tour. As unlikely as the paring sounds, I am sure that fist pumping Pauly D will fit right into the Britney Spears Circus!
