Sublime’s Rome Ramirez Covers Amy Winehouse’s “Rehab”

Upon hearing about the sudden, tragic death of singer Amy Winehouse, Rome Ramirez (singer, guitar player, and front man of Sublime With Rome), paid tribute by recording a cover of Amy’s famous song “Rehab”.

TMZ posted the YouTube video of Rome’s awesome version of the song on their website.  Alongside the video, Rome included the message, “I recorded this tribute for Amy Winehouse after I heard the news of her passing. She is a huge inspiration to my music. We miss you Amy.”

Rome Ramirez isn’t the only musician paying homage to Amy.  M.I.A and OutKast’s Big Boi have also chosen to remember the troubled star by way of song.  M.I.A. released the track “27” in reference to Amy’s age (along with the many other late musicians who died at the young age of 27), while Big Boi revealed an unreleased “Organized Noize Dungeon Family remix of Amy’s single ‘Tears Dry on Their Own’”, according to Aceshowbiz.com.
