Kat Von D “Good Day L.A.” Interview Mayhem!

Kat Von D walks off set of  Good Day L.A.

Kat Von D stormed off the set of Good Day L.A. after the show’s introduction showed a video clip of Kat getting a tattoo of Jesse James on her side.

Once Kat saw that Good Day L.A. ran the clip she freaked and bailed on the interview. The video clip of Kat getting the tattoo of Jesse James was taken from her show, L.A. Ink, and shows Kat Von D getting the tattoo when she and Jesse were still an item.

So this is the thing … Kat Von D, according to Good Day L.A., pre-approved the video clip of her getting the Jesse James tattoo, and also said ahead of time that she was down with being asked about her relationship ad break-up with Jesse. Somewhere, somehow, something went wrong and Kat left in a tizzy. Soon after she tweeted:

“Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for eachother never fails to dissapoint me.”

Did Kat know ahead of time that she was going to storm off the set, thus getting publicity without even having to do an interview, or did Good Day L.A. pull a fast one on her? I’m guessing the latter, but it seems that Kat has moved on already. She met up with a friend, also named Kat, and posted a pic of the two together – smiles on both of their faces.

I like Kat, I do. She may have left the set, but I can bet she had a pretty good reason.

(Heads up for those who enjoy Kat Von D’s art, follow her on Twitter. She does a “Sketch-a-Day” and her “sketches” are quite amazing. Here is her submission for today.)

UPDATE:

Kat Von D has explained more as to why she left the set of Good Day L.A. on her Twitter:

My apologies if I’ve offended anyone this morning-For the record: I did not storm off – I politely left w notice when GDLA broke their word.

@askjillian I didn’t walk out because you used the clip we sent you- I walked out because of your disrespectful intro you guys “snuck” in.
