Rapper Soulja Boy bought himself a $55 million private jet for his 21st birthday.
I didn’t even know Soulja Boy was still around. Did I learn quickly how wrong I was when I heard of his latest bit of stupidity that got him right back on my radar. Apparently the rapper’s big hit “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” made him enough money to turn around and do something completely stupid for his 21st birthday – buying himself his own private G5 jet as a birthday gift for $35 million, and then dropping another $20 million in upgrades typically reserved for some self-important jackass’ Escalade.
According to TMZ, Boy (is that really his last name?) refurbished the plane with 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, four liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets. I bet you he has an Xbox 360 in every headrest, too. He’s also swapping out the current as-is lavatory with a “giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom,” because clearly you can’t Superman any hoes into the Mile High Club in your average Delta in-flight restroom. And, to top it all off, he’s getting the jet detailed and custom painted complete with his logo.
I’m really at a loss for words here. Finally, someone’s idiocy has left me speechless.
