Redmond O’Neal arrested once again for drugs, heroin and marijuana found in car
The son of the late Farrah Fawcett and actor Ryan O’Neal was arrested Tuesday morning after police found heroin and marijuana in his car.
O’Neal, who is currently on probation for drug related charges, ran a red light at 8:30 a.m. in Santa Monica and was subsequently pulled over. His car was searched and heroin was found. Redmond O’Neal, 26, was booked for the traffic infraction, violating his felony drug probation and possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held without bail until his court appearance.
Growing up in a family plagued by addiction it seems Redmond was doomed from the start. His mother’s death has more than likely helped to justify his drug problem and I doubt he has much family support. His father only seems to be interested in living the “good life” still, but is probably still wrapped up in his addiction as well. He never was much of a father anyway, why would he start now?
Redmond O’Neal is going to end up another statistic if his life doesn’t turn around, and soon. If he doesn’t and ends up dying his father will be all, “woe is me,” to the world just like when Farrah died. Poor kid doesn’t have much of a shot but hopefully someone cares about him enough to help him love life, and mostly himself, because I doubt he ever has.
Another wild thing I noticed about Redmond O’Neal, it’s a little scary how his mugshots look like those “Faces of Meth” shots floating around the web. Progressively getting more haggard looking:

I wonder what his next one will look like? IF there IS a next one. If there isn’t, there are only two possible outcomes. Either he gets sober – or not.
