Singer/Songwriter/Fashion Mogul: Gwen Stefani
Taking her fashion expertise from women’s clothing designs to children and young adults, No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani is launching her Harajuku Mini line at Target beginning November 3.
Stefani first put her eclectic style and talent on the fashion map back in 2004 when she debuted her L.A.M.B. line, and then once again in 2005 with Harajuku Lovers.
With a reported $90 million dollars in sales a year for just L.A.M.B. alone, I’m thinking the line might do okay. Heh. Making it more accessible to the entire population by way of expense, with the help of Target won’t hurt either.
Being a parent to her boys Kingston, 5, and Zuma, almost 3, with hot rocker hubby Gavin Rossdale, Stefani says that making the children’s line was a “dream come true.”
Stefani told Women’s Wear Daily, ”I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the supercute and playful kids clothing you find in Japan. The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality, and having fun getting dressed. Target has given me the creative freedom to design kids clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.”
Go Gwen!
