18 of the most memorable men and women from the Bachelor and the Bachelorette have reunited for another season of drama on The Bachelor Pad.
First off, lets take a look at the Bachelor Pad cast, shall we?
Justin is the dark haired, good looking wrestler with an attitude who was busted for making a phone call to his girlfriend during Ali’s season of The Bachelorette. “Rated-R,” as he is known, stands for “revenge” this season, he says. Justin says many other Bachelorette contestants have held a grudge against him since leaving the show.
Jackie is the spicy one from Brad’s second season of The Bachelor. Sent home by Brad while in Costa Rica, Jackie is still looking for love. Jackie is best remembered for being the one who made Michelle Money cry on The Bachelor: After the Rose. She likened her to a “spider”.
Michelle Money, the drama queen from Brad’s second season, is back again and she says there will be “fireworks.” But will she bring the crazy? “I don’t consider myself to be crazy by any means,” she said on The Bachelor Pad premiere. “It’s been hard being ‘crazy Michelle’. People can be mean, people can be brutal.” Michelle adds that she has not found love since the Bachelor. She says she wants to use the money from Bachelor Pad to help with research of colon cancer as her dad is currently fighting it.
Gia is back as well, (she must be SO thankful for ABC) the seemingly innocent beauty who was dumped by Jake Pavelka on The Bachelor, Gia hooked up with Wes on The Bachelor Pad last season, dumped her boyfriend for Wes, then Wes cheated on her with Vienna, Jake Pavelka’s pick on The Bachelor. Ouch! Stupid boys.
Which leads us to the next cast member of the Bachelor Pad…

Vienna. Oh, Vienna. Attention loving, camera whoring Vienna. Her opening line on the show is, “I’m competitive, and I’m awesome.” Vienna said that winning the Bachelor was “like a lose/lose [situation].” Of course Vienna gets around, so onto our next Bachelor Pad cast member, another Vienna hook-up named Kasey.
Remember Kasey? Mr. “guard and protect your heart” guy? Yeah, he and Vienna are an item despite that moronic tattoo he had inked on his wrist during Ali’s season on The Bachelorette. “I put my whole entire heart on the line, and she has it,” he says of Vienna. I bet she’s got him by more than just his heart…
Then there is Jake Pavelka. The former Bachelor who chose Vienna as his bride but the romance proved to be strictly a showmance and the couple’s relationship soured quickly. “The last thing in the world I wanted to do was get mad, I mean, that’s just not me,” he said of being reunited with Vienna on The Bachelor reunion show. “I have not seen or spoken to Vienna since that night.”

Erica is the dumb blonde from Lorenzo’s season of The Bachelor. She was the princess in pink with the ratty, cheap, hair extensions. She was snotty, spoiled and disgustingly over accessorized. “I don’t think I’m really that spoiled anymore,” she said. “It’s time for me to go and be financially independent from my parents – but I don’t want to go and have to find a job or anything like that.” Riiiight.
Graham of The Bachelorette, broke the heart of of DeAnna Pappas by not opening up to her. After The Bachelorette, Graham was involved in a relationship but it didn’t work out. He lives in NYC and spends his time doing a lot of charity work for children. Graham says no matter how beautiful the women are he plans on staying focused on the money so he can use it for the charities. (Focused on Michelle MONEY?)
Ella, from Jake’s season of The Bachelor, is the single mom looking to better her son’s life. Ella wins the sympathy vote for having lost her mother at the age of 3. Her stepfather shot and killed her mother with a sawed off shotgun in front of her and her sister. “I’m not coming home without that money,” she says firmly.
Holly the blonde headed pixie from Matt Grant’s season of The Bachelor surprised us with her long brunette hair on The Bachelor Pad. She ended up hooking up with Michael from Jillian’s season of The Bachelorette (they all sleep together) and the two became engaged. But Holly’s fear of commitment kicked in and she called it off. Soon after they got back together but Michael could never get over the fact that Holly had called off the engagement, so he broke it off – for good.
Of course that leads us to Michael. (Head spinning yet?) “I loved her like a husband loves a wife and it’ll be hard to be in the same house as her.” Michael truly seems crushed, will he be able to get over Holly, or will he grow to resent her? Guessing the latter.
Blake from Ashley’s season didn’t really get an intro, he just walked in and was “glamoured” by Michelle Money. Heh.

Bachelor Pad cast members then begin socializing as they arrive one by one. The men are all immediately in awe at Michelle Money’s beauty and Holly is immediately smitten with Blake.
Vienna arrives and begins the mud-slinging, trying to convince people how terrible of a person Jake is. Then Gia shows up and practically vomits when she sees that Vienna is in the house. Vienna waits for her boy-toy Kasey so she can have some kind of backup because it’s obvious nobody likes her.
Jake finally shows up after Vienna’s obvious (and overplayed) anxiety with each arriving cast member, he expresses that he’s eager to have closure with Vienna. Whether he is B.S.ing or not, we’ll soon find out. So Jake walks in and immediately goes around the room shaking hands. When he gets to Kasey he played it off so smoothly, “Hey! I know who you are!” With Jake’s big smile and hand shake Kasey’s bright red head was about to explode. He had wanted a confrontation but got none.

Later Jake proactively approached Kasey and Vienna who were chatting with other Bachelor Pad cast members. You could have cut the tension with Erica’s tiara. Vienna played the silent drama queen, not saying anything but acting very frightened, and Kasey turned red again.
During a one-to-one with Jake later on, Gia tells him that he should talk to Kasey as soon as possible and get it out of the way. She advises him to approach and congratulate Kasey on his relationship with Vienna and to let him know that he’s over her. So Jake does, and it’s rocky, but afterward Kasey lowers his raised hackles and the two men part ways, both secretly plotting to get the other one out of the Bachelor Pad as soon as possible.
One of the funniest highlights of the Bachelor Pad premiere was when Kirk admitted that he’d had too many cocktails and ended up “pairing up” with Erica. I’m sure he meant that more ways than one judging by the look on his face.
The first Bachelor Pad competition was a strength and endurance challenge. Starting on a bed, the men would be put into a harness and the ladies, in bikinis, would hold onto the men in a sort of bear hug, until they could no longer hold on. Last couple remaining wins the challenge.
Of course it comes down to Jake and Jackie and Vienna and Kasey, and that’s where they ended it. It looks like we’ll have to wait until next week’s Bachelor Pad to find out who pulls it off. With Jake’s purple leg and Kasey’s tick-like, blood-filled body, who will be the last man standing? Will Kasey protect and honor Vienna – or will she slaughter him if she gives in and lets Jake win?
Who are your favorites – and the ones you love to hate this season? And are you Team Jake or Team Vienna?
